This year the traditional Christmas dish – kutia – cost hosts 20% higher than a year ago.
In the Ukrainian Association of retailers estimated that of all the ingredients Kuti is not added to the price except the raisins. But the price of cereals, nuts, honey and poppy in 2017 changed regularly.
However, experts note that even with expensive products to make a Christmas pudding yourself is cheaper than buy in the supermarket or cafe.
