The fleet of the Ukrainian Navy will join the new patrol boats from US partners. About it in Odessa during the ceremony dedicated to the Day of Navy of Ukraine, said defense Minister army-General Stepan Poltorak.

“In 2018, the Navy will acquire combat capabilities, a command marine forces command marine corps, we must complete the formation of the second marine brigade. This year, except for those boats that have just entered the combat strength, we expect to receive patrol boats from our US partners,” – said Poltorak.

In addition, according to the Minister, is to be completed the construction of assault boats, work continued on the construction of the Corvette, as well as for the development and construction of armored artillery boats.

Also, the Ukrainian Navy will receive a new armored artillery boats.
