Estonian MFA: These actions violate international law and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine

Estonia condemns Russia’s attack on Ukrainian ships, according to Twitter the Estonian Ministry of foreign Affairs.

“Estonia condemns Russia’s attack on Ukrainian ships in the Azov sea in Kerch Strait, and called for the immediate release of the ships. These actions violate international law and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, it is a conscious act on the tension”, – is told in the message.

November 25, Russia seized the Black sea boats of the Ukrainian Navy “Berdyansk” and “Nikopol” and tug Kapu Yana” who were going to pass through the Kerch Strait in the Azov sea. The courts opened fire. According to the naval forces of Ukraine, six Ukrainian servicemen got wounds. In the border guard of FSB of the Russian Federation in Crimea reported three wounded. According to the chief of staff of the Armed forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko, only on the captured vessels was 23 military. Boats and the tugboat will be delivered to the port occupied Kerch. On 26 November the situation in the sea of Azov will discuss the UN security Council.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at the meeting of the national security Council and defense of Ukraine expressed support for the proposal of the war Cabinet to introduce in Ukraine martial law. NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov noted that it was proposed to enter it for 60 days. A corresponding proposal, Parliament will consider on November 26.

The foreign Ministry of Ukraine has demanded from Russia to release the Ukrainian military, to return seized property and compensate the damage.
