Military equipment found by the videobloggers on the territory of Kharkiv armored plant without protection, were transferred to the plant with a view to its repair and modernization, and preparing for the transfer of the APU.

About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine.

“Regarding the situation at the location of the equipment on the territory of Kharkiv armored plant, reported the following: military equipment, which is now restored, in accordance with state contracts, had been transferred to the plant with a view to its repair and modernization at the expense of budgetary funds. After completion of all the acceptance of work specified military equipment will be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.

The Ministry explained that the old equipment was concentrated at the plant from 2004 to 2010 in different solutions of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine of that time. The decision on further use was not taken until 2014.

According to the report, in 2014, defense Minister Stepan Poltorak ordered to make an inventory of all equipment to determine its availability, technical status and perform repair work.

“Now there is an unscheduled stock inventory of military equipment. After its completion the legal decision will be made regarding the mechanisms of its return to the Armed forces of Ukraine”, – noted in the Ministry of defence.
