Virgil Ortiz showed total domination in the ring.

California hosted an evening of Boxing promotion company Golden Boy, in the main fight which met the prospect, Welterweight Virgil Ortiz (16-0, 16 KO’s) and Samuel Vargas (31-6-2, 14 KO).

Ortiz defeated an opponent by Ko, the referee stopped the fight after Virgil start to beat Vargas.

Ortiz from the first seconds took the initiative and controlled the opponent’s jab. Vargas tried to answer and sometimes the punches reached the target.

In the third and fourth rounds Virgil struck good blows, after which Vargas took refuge in the clinch. Despite the advantage during the fight, Ortiz sometimes forget about the defense, in an attempt to end the battle soon, and Vargas did not miss the moment to disturb his blows.

In the seventh, Ortiz was clearly dominate over his rival, who could no longer answer. The referee stopped the beating, giving Ortiz an early victory.
