The searches took place in “places of residence” of the defendants in the case about the shooting

One of the defendants in the case of the shooting in Brovary, Kyiv region in absentia declared suspicion. On 9 June, informed the national police.

“One of the organizers in absentia is notified of suspicion under part 3 of article 27 (complicity) and part 4 of article 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal code of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.

Militiamen told that this morning the police raided “in places of possible residence of the organizers and the participants of the shooting in Brovary, as well as in office premises”.

“The results of the investigation the police seized various weapons, ammunition of various calibers, knives, rough notes”, – noted in the national police.

On the morning of may 29 in one of the residential districts of Brovary, Kyiv region skirmish. The incident resulted in injuring three people. During the shooting one of the bullets hit the window of a house.

The police reported that the shooting in Brovary happened because of the conflict between the companies “Soyuzavto” and “evroavtoal’yans”, which are unable to divide the passenger traffic.

“Between Brovary and Kiev runs daily the number of taxis. Ticket price – an average of UAH 14. This is 600 thousand of earnings per day and per year – about 220 million UAH. The passenger transport market is divided between two groups: part of the traffic is legitimate, the part that carried by both the carrier – no,” – said interior Minister Arsen Avakov.

The Ministry of the interior revoked license security firms whose employees were involved in a shootout in Brovary.
