President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visited Friday the frontier “Divin” in Kobrin district. He discussed with the military situation on the state border and separately spoke on the situation in the East, where Belarus actually is not permanently stationed units, and on the part of Russia there are regular units of the border service of FSB of the Russian Federation. Lukashenko said that the Russians supposedly do not know what you want, but if you want to close the border – we adequately too close.

“We cannot be like the Russians. They do not understand what they want and what they are doing on the Belarusian-Russian border. Let determined. Determined – we are not a problem to answer”, – reports the Agency “BelTA” the words of Alexander Lukashenko.

The President of Belarus stressed that the authorities are ready at any moment to give an adequate response.

“If they want to close the border please. Closed – we also need to impose control on the border,” – said the Belarusian leader. Lukashenko added that Belarus will also apply to Russia, if you expressed willingness to communicate, as allies and friends. He called the border “a relic of the past”, which they use for communication between people, especially between Russians and Belarusians.

At the same time, Lukashenka admitted that Russia has the right to equip its border according to its vision and urged not to hurry up and figure out what he wants to do in Moscow.

“We know where they navimodel their troops, created commandant’s office, and other infrastructure,” – said Lukashenko, noting that he intends to raise this issue in the coming days at a meeting of the Supreme state Council of the Union state.

“We need to make a clear agreement about the relationship between the border guards”, – he said, adding that the countries are in the process of establishing a joint behavior at the border. He again noted that no need to hurry, but Belarus needs to see what is happening.
