In the river on February 16, the driver of the car who the police were chasing, hit three people, one of them to death. About it reports a press-service of the patrol police of the Dnepropetrovsk region on his page in Facebook.

“The passenger of the Audi car, he saw the patrol, opened a back door during the movement of the car and screamed: “Help!”. Noticed it [the patrol] the crew could not react by giving a vehicle driver a signal to stop. However, he accelerated the movement, despite the signals and commands of the police. The information was immediately transmitted to the radio the other police crews,” – said in the message.

10 minutes, the Audi driver tried to escape from the guards, moving at high speed, driving on forbidding signal of the traffic lights, ignored requests to stop.

At the intersection of suburban streets and Voronezh the driver lost control and hit three pedestrians. Two people – a man and a child were seriously injured, another man, the father, died on the spot.

“At this time of the Audi jumped by three people. The two took to their heels, and the other ran to the patrol asking for help. According to him, an unknown force suspended him from driving the Audi and drove in the unknown direction”, – noted in police.

The crews and officers of the regiment of special police caught up with the attackers. During the inspection they found military weapons.
