The number of those wishing to relax on the Peninsula has been steadily decreasing

For 2017 in the occupied Crimea rested 5 395 000 tourists, which is 3.2% below the level of 2016. It is reported the so-called “minkurortov” of the Peninsula.

According to the self-proclaimed “authorities” of the total arrivals of tourists in January-December of 2017, 43 percent arrived by air transport; 42% – ferry; 15% arrived by other modes of transport.

“Most tourists rested in 2017 on the southern coast of Crimea – 45,3% of the total number of tourists rested since the beginning of the year in the Crimea as a whole, on the West coast of the Crimea -21,3%; on the Eastern coast of the Crimea -18,6%; in other regions (Simferopol, Simferopol and Bakhchisaray districts) -14,8%”, – said the Crimean “officials”.

We will remind, according to VTSIOM, last summer in the occupied Crimea rested only 6% of Russians. In this issue the Peninsula is almost two times lost to the resorts of Krasnodar Krai, visited by 11% of respondents.
