1 July 2018 in Russia earned the so-called Spring package. Before the government clarified the conditions for the implementation of the controversial bill. They concern the organizers of the dissemination of information on the Internet.

Now the operators included in the register of Roskomnadzor, shall be obliged to store video, photo, voice and text messages over six months.

The access to this information will be employees of the interior Ministry, FSB and foreign intelligence Service (SVR), Federal guard service (FSO), the Federal service of execution of punishments (FSIN), Federal customs service (FCS).

Formally, the “Spring package” entered into force two years ago, however the bill was postponed, allowing the operators to prepare.
