Find a pet will become much easier.

In January, developers from Lithuania released app GetPet for Android, with which you can meet dogs from shelters. As in Tinder, the animals have their profiles with photos and descriptions, wrote “Medusa”.

All descriptions — from the first person. They specify gender, age and other details (e.g., whether castration or sterilization).

On the home screen, users show the profiles of the Pets (there’s well over a hundred!). The “cross” — go to the next dog, “heart” an animal you like and you are ready to meet him at the shelter. There is a dog you can communicate and decide whether you want to take her to himself. During the first two weeks, the mentors from GetPet will help with advice on caring for your pet.

While the application is running only in Lithuania, all the descriptions there, too, in Lithuanian. In the future the creators GetPet plan to add cats and other animals .
