Members of the British government held a secret rehearsal of the first day after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. About it reports The Sunday Times.

In covert rehearsal, codenamed “pigeon Palace” was represented by Deputy Theresa may, David Lidington, the Minister of internal Affairs Sajid Javid, the head of the house of Commons Andrea Leeds, as well as the head of the Scottish administration David Mundell.

Cabinet members have developed a plan of their actions during ten days of national mourning. It is planned that after the death of the monarch 600 people will gather at Buckingham Palace to take part in the ad name of the new king. Then the body of the deceased will be four days lying in the Palace of Westminster, and her successor will go to Scotland and Wales.
