Funds will be used for a new project on reconstruction and substation automation Ukrenergo.

Germany will provide EUR 24.5 million to modernization of substation of the Ministry of energy and integration of energy system of Ukraine in ENTSO-E. this was stated by the Deputy Director of the Ministry of energy for investment Mr Kudrytska, the press service of the company.

It is reported that the German representatives reaffirmed their intention to provide Ukraine through technical and financial cooperation financial assistance in the amount of 80 million euros to implement reforms in a number of industries.

“In particular, 24.5 million euros will be spent on a new project for the reconstruction and automation of substations Ukrenergo “improving the efficiency of power transmission (integration of the Ukrainian UPS in the European United power system) III”, – said the Kudrytska.

He also stressed that this will greatly improve the reliability of electricity transmission and to ensure technical compliance of equipment and network standards and the requirements of ENTSO-E.

Earlier it was reported that Germany will provide for the implementation of reforms in Ukraine in the current year to 82 million euros.
