Petrenko: I Advise all who have paid to their own children, immediately to repay them!

In Ukraine from August 29 to will accrue additional penalties at a continuous failure to pay child support. About it 1 Aug in Facebook said the Minister of justice of Ukraine Pavel Petrenko.

He recalled that this norm is contained in law No. 2475-VIII, which in July was approved by the Verkhovna Rada and the President Petro Poroshenko.

According to Petrenko, “the additional funds will be sent to the child directly”. The Minister of justice said what kind of penalties are waiting for the debtors:

• +20% of the amount owed to pay alimony if she does not repay more than one year;
• +30% of the amount owed with a two-year delay;
• +50% of the amount owed if unpaid for three years.

“I advise all who have paid to their own children, immediately to repay them!” asked Petrenko.

The act provides for the automatic withholding of funds on the account of the debtor. Also failure to pay child support for over six months, provides for liability in the form of community service for 120 to 240 hours.
