Company SpaceX launched a rocket-Falcon Heavy after 7 years of training. In the cargo hold of the Falcon Heavy was a personal car Elon musk – red Tesla Roadster. The car for the first time in the history of mankind went into outer space.
SpaceX founder Elon Musk says that a car journey could last several thousand years.
In his Twitter, Musk has already published a picture and video with the “star man” on the red Tesla in space.

Musk said that the car has a book of Douglas Adams “Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy,” a towel and a sign that says Don’t Panic. Tesla plays the song Space Oddity by David Bowie. Musk says that this is done to ensure that the dummy behind the wheel “not be bored”.
In the next 5 hours the car will remain in earth orbit. Then it will be given impetus on the trajectory to Mars.
