At the moment, Russia on the Ukrainian fields illegally produced 7.2 billion cubic meters of gas, of which half of the Odessa field.

Since the beginning of armed annexation of the Crimea Russia was illegally extracted from the Odessa gas field more than 3.5 billion cubic meters of gas. It is reported by Gromadske with reference to the Chairman of the Board of Chernomorneftegaz Svetlana Niinou.

“Gas production at the Odessa oil field continues to the time of annexation there were drilled seven wells, and then another 11 wells. Deposits are now used in full. The illegitimate authorities of the Crimea trying to pump out more gas from there,” said Ninova.

According to her, at the moment Russia illegally produced 7.2 billion cubic meters of gas, of which half (3.5 billion) – from the Odessa gas field.

“Russia from the very beginning of the annexation knew it economic zone of Ukraine . Since approaching international courts, Russia could begin to take some action,” added Ninova.

The Odessa gas field is located in the economic zone of Ukraine, its reserves are about 21 billion cubic meters of gas. Ukraine has been entered into operation in November 2012, officially there were produced about 500 million cubic meters of gas.

Earlier it was reported that Russia plans to stop the operation of the Odessa gas field, which provides the Crimea nearly half of national gas production for the international court of justice with Ukraine.
