The reigning world champion in classical chess: Magnus Carlsen won the world blitz championship, which takes place in Saudi Arabia.

Carlsen scored 16 points from 21 possible, 1.5 points ahead of Russian Sergey Karjakin, who took second place. As many points of the asset recorded and Viswanathan Anand from India, but he lost to Karjakin additional indicators.
