The ATP tournaments will begin as soon as August.

The ATP extended the break in tournaments until July 31, 2020 for the cause of the pandemic coronavirus. This was reported on the official website of the Association.

This decision means that the tournaments in Hamburg, Båstad, Newport, Los Cabos, Gstaad, Umag, Atlanta and Kitzbuhel will be in accordance with the schedule.

The extension of the quarantine also applies to tournaments of the ATP Challenger Tour and ITF World Tennis Tour.

“In connection with the ongoing uncertainty associated with the pandemic COVID-19, we regret to announce our decision to extend the suspension of the tour,” said ATP Chairman Andrea Gaudenzi.

The Association noted that it is ready to resume the tour as soon as possible, and to reschedule missed tournaments at a later date.

The tournaments, which should take place August 1, 2020, is still scheduled in accordance with the published schedule. Continued updating of the calendar of ATP Tour is expected in mid-June.
