“We are deeply concerned about the state of health of the four Ukrainian citizens held by Russia, who declared a hunger strike in protest against the continued imprisonment of political prisoners by the Ukrainian authorities of the Russian Federation. Their prison terms as the detention of many other Ukrainians incarcerated by the Russian authorities, are represented politically motivated”, – said in a statement.
The British authorities urged Russia to immediately release political prisoners.
“Control, set by Russia over the Crimea, remains illegal and illegitimate and constitute a flagrant violation of a number of international obligations of the Russian Federation”, – added the foreign Ministry of great Britain.
