The statement of the Chancellor of Austria, Sebastian Kurz on the support of the Vienna sanctions against Russia repeats the position of Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel. This opinion was expressed by former Deputy Prime Minister Alfred Koch on his page in Facebook, commenting on the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Austria.
“Not caved in to the Austrians. Said that for Putin will not destroy the unified position of the EU in relation to sanctions. Chancellor Kurtz reiterated to Putin that he had heard a hundred times from Merkel: there is progress in the Donbass will be the gradual lifting of sanctions. There is no progress the sanctions will remain in full”, – he said.
Koh added that the Russian President tries unsuccessfully to find a weakness in the position of Western politicians.
“Amazing, of course, Putin is a man: he’s a hundred times already said it, but he does not believe that this is a firm position. Everyone goes looking for a loophole, a hole. Type: as in the years of stagnation – so to put someone in the leg, so missed the restaurant? In one word – nothing Congress”, – he concluded.
