The head of the Majlis stressed that “only 34% – those who are ideologically focused on the election.”
“At the same time representatives of local authorities, in particular Aksenov (Chairman of the “Council of Ministers” of Crimea Sergey Aksenov. – “GORDON”), tried to influence Moscow emissaries, including through bribery, for correction of documents in favor of increasing the turnout of at least 10-15%, but they refused. This has caused concern Crimean authorities, as the failure of Kremlin’s plans to turn the election results in support of the referendum in 2014 could lead to organizational insights regarding local leaders, who were unable to use the available administrative resources” – read Chubarov.
