Celestial body 2009 PQ1 t maximum comes closer to our planet on August 5.
The national aeronautic and space USA (NASA) warned about the approach to Earth asteroid with a diameter from 84 to 190 m, reports TASS.
According to the Agency, the asteroid, called 2009 PQ1, will approach the Earth on 5 August. It will fly past our planet at a distance of 3.2 million miles at a speed of 13.4 km/s.
The asteroid was discovered on 14 August 2009. Astronomers consider it one of the Apollo — asteroids whose orbits cross Earth’s orbit.
