An American writer and one of the producers of the series “Friends” Marta Kauffman in an interview with The Wrap has reported that filming of the new series of the project can begin in August 2020.

According to Kaufman, if not the second wave of a pandemic caused by a coronavirus, the Studio will begin work a month later.

In February it became known that Jennifer aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry is preparing to shoot in a special project of the series “Friends”. Media reported that participation in the new episode the actors will get royalties of between $3 million to $4 million. However, later the project was canceled because of a pandemic coronavirus.
