International airport tel Aviv will be temporarily closed for receiving commercial flights from abroad

All commercial flights from the United States and other countries to Israel canceled. On 11 April, Facebook announced in the Prime Minister’s office after the meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with Minister of transport Bezalel Smotrich.

The ban will apply until the until the Cabinet of Ministers will not solve the legal formalities, which are still not allow to accommodate all arrivals from abroad in mandatory quarantine in hotels, administered by the Ministry of defence.

According to Times of Israel, Netanyahu went on tough measures after the incident at the airport of tel Aviv. On the morning of 11 April, about 70 passengers of a flight from new York left the airport in a taxi without checking their temperature, or fill in the form with information on the whereabouts of the next 14 days.

The publication notes that the laws do not allow police or military to force people to quarantine. As reported by Times of Israel source in the Ministry of health of passengers, who said that we have the opportunity to isolate themselves, was permitted to return home, and the rest were sent to hotels for a 14-day quarantine.
