Besedin will miss Euro 2020

Striker “Dynamo” and national team of Ukraine Artem Besedin suspended for one year due to the anti-doping rule violation, the official website of the Kyiv club.

This decision was made by the Appeals Committee of UEFA on 24 February.

“Given such a period of suspension compared to the standard for such cases, we can assume that UEFA agreed with most of the arguments of the player and the club and found that the actions of the player there is no significant fault,” writes the official website of “Dynamo”.

19 Dec Dynamo was notified about the possible violation of Ukrainian striker, UEFA anti-doping rules. Besedin was suspended before clarification of circumstances.

The term of disqualification of football player will be levied from December 19, 2019. Thus the striker will miss Euro 2020 will be performing the national team of Ukraine.

Dynamo still do not know whether to appeal to the court of arbitration for Sport. Before making the decision, the club wants to see the full text of the document on the disqualification.

Besedin is a graduate of the Dynamo, for the capital team, the striker has played 105 matches and scored 29 goals and gave 11 assists (23 games, eight goals and one assist this season).

Also biesiedin has played 12 matches for the national team of Ukraine, scored two goals.
