The cost of the missile program in 2020 will increase compared to 2019

The Ministry of defence of Ukraine plans to spend on missile program in 2020, more than 2.4 billion UAH. About this informed the Agency on February 21.

“In 2020 the planned completion of the development with the performance of state tests of the complex “Neptune” and “Alder” and provided funding in full. After taking them on Board will be undertaken to purchase production models. In addition, it is planned to buy about 3 thousand missiles and rockets to them worth more than 2.4 billion UAH taking into account government guarantees,” – said in the message.

The defense Ministry said, compared with the year 2019 funding for missile program in the current year was increased by 300 million UAH.

18 Feb chief editor of “Censor.NO” Yury Butusov reported that the Ukrainian state defense order for 2020 not provided sufficient funding for missile program. Secretary of the national security Council and defense of Ukraine Alexey Danilov denied this information.
