The top management of “Naftogaz”, which was made from Russian “Gazprom” payments of nearly $3 billion by the decision of the Stockholm arbitration, will receive awards in the amount of 1% of this amount. On 8 January announced LIGA.net Executive Director of “Naftogaz of Ukraine” Yuriy Vitrenko.
“Under the contract must pay. The entire group will be 1% of the money,” he said.
On the question of whether he counted his prize, Vitrenko said, “No, not believed”.
In the summer of 2018 the Supervisory Board of “Naftogaz” has decided to pay 41 employee awards totaling more than $46 million for the fact that the Stockholm arbitration court satisfied the claim of the Ukrainian side to Gazprom about the lack of transit volumes.
Edition ZN.UA claimed that the head of “Naftogaz” Andrey Kobelev has received 207 million ($7.9 million), and Vitrenko – 158 million UAH ($6 million). At the same time, in the company’s annual report it was stated that COBOL in 2018 got the 286, 5 million UAH of wages and additional premiums, including UAH 261 million award for winning in the Stockholm arbitration.
The then Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman stated that it is concerned about the size of the awards, and wrote a letter of appeal to the Supervisory Board of the NAC. He replied that he did not intend to reconsider its decision.

18 June 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has banned the payment of bonuses and remuneration to managers of state-owned companies.
“Commander in chief” with reference to the draft financial plan of Naftogaz for 2019, reported that top executives of the company in 2019 was scheduled to pay an average of $2.2 million.
21 December, Gazprom announced that it would pay “Naftogaz” before the New year, more than $2.9 billion under condition of refusal of the Ukrainian side of new claims and review arbitration and litigation of claims on which no final decisions. Ukraine agreed to it. December 27, Gazprom paid Naftogaz a us $2.9 billion.
In January 2020 KOBOLEV said that his company is not going to waste received from “Gazprom” money without approval of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
