20 September in Parliament presenting the draft law No. 2000 “On the state budget of Ukraine” for the year 2020, reports the correspondent of the edition “GORDON”.

The presentation of the bill was held by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oksana Markarova.

MPs began discussion of the document.

First Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk told reporters that the decision on whether there will be a vote today in the first reading of the draft state budget will be adopted on the results of its performance. About it reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“Let’s see. The issue is how the presentation of the budget. According to the results of how it will be presented, a decision will be made”, – said Stepanchuk.

He noted that the changes made in Rada a draft – “this is just the first option,” which the Cabinet could be formed within 15 days and stated that it already has issues. In particular, the initiative to raise the minimum wage to UAH 550 Stepanchuk commented: “This is something that does not suit us, and it is something that does not meet these promises.”

The Cabinet of Ministers on 15 September submitted to the Parliament a draft state budget for 2020. According to the document, budget revenues in 2020 will amount to almost UAH 1.08 trillion, expenses of 1.17 trillion UAH. The maximum amount of the budget deficit for next year, I plan to install on level 95,131 billion.

A living wage, prescribed in the draft budget is for able-bodied persons from January 1, 2102 UAH per month, from July 1 – 2197 UAH per month, from December 1 – UAH 2270 per month.

The bill also proposed to establish from 1 January 2020 minimum wage of $ 4723 $ per month.

Now the subsistence minimum for able-bodied Ukrainians is the 2007 UAH, the minimum wage – 4173 UAH.
