Date unifying Council has not yet named

The Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate at the meeting, 27-29 November has not approved the Tomos of autocephaly and did not set a date for a unifying Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, but adopted the Charter of the UOC. This is stated in a communiqué published on the website of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
“In the context of previously adopted decisions of the Ecumenical atriarchal of granting autocephaly to the Ukrainian Church and in anticipation of the issuance of the Patriarchal and Synodal Tomos of his Holiness and the Holy Synod made up of the constitutional Charter of the Ukrainian Church”, – is spoken in the message.
From 27 to 29 November in Istanbul hosted the Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, which had to approve the text of the Tomos. Advisor to the President of Ukraine Rostislav Pavlenko said that on 29 November, the Ecumenical Patriarchate had to set a date for a unifying Council.
The Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate on 11 October adopted a number of decisions concerning the autocephaly of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. In particular, the decision of the Patriarchate of Constantinople from 1686 on the transfer of the Ukrainian Church in the administration of the Moscow Patriarchate abolished; the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kiev Patriarchy Philaret were taken imposed by the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) is anathema; to him and to the Primate of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Makarios returned to canonical status.
The official Tomos of autocephaly of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will present the chosen at the unity Cathedral of the Primate of a local Church. He is expected to be held in December.
