Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly on the air of “Radio-HB”, said that Ukraine has filed a request in Washington with regards to the purchase of air defense systems worth $ 750 million per unit, the at least three respective military complexes to the Ukrainian army.

“Our vision for the next period, in my opinion, a sea space, air space; it is something without which we simply cannot provide defense of the country”, — said the Ambassador.

Chaly also said that Ukraine needs the drones, counter-battery radar and contrairy systems.

The Ambassador added that the request was voiced at the “high level”, namely at the meetings of the presidents of Ukraine and the United States in Brussels, as well as at the meetings of the Ukrainian party c adviser to the President for national security John Bolton .

Earlier, the Ambassador said that Ukraine is negotiating to manufacture small nuclear reactors with the American company Holtec.
