On suspicion in participation in preparation of the assassination attempt on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro arrested six people. This August 5 said the Minister of internal Affairs Nestor Reverol, Twitter informs local TV channel teleSUR TV.
“Not to the exclusion of others detention,” he said.
According to the Minister, gathered important information about the assassination attempt.

Reverol noted that one of the detainees had an arrest warrant for involvement in attack on military base loyal to Maduro, in August 2017. Another was arrested in 2014 for participation in the riots.

August 4 to Maduro made an attempt with the use of drones during his speech to the guards on parade in Caracas. The Minister of communication and information of Venezuela, Jorge Rodriguez said that the President was not injured and has returned to work.
Maduro during his address to the citizens said that the police have arrested several people involved in the assassination. According to him, the President of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos personally responsible for the attack, and financing of the assassination was including from Florida.
The foreign Ministry of Colombia has called the charges absurd.
Responsibility for the attack took on a group of “Flannel soldiers” (Soldados de Franela).
