OSCE cars have successfully passed through the mined area

June 22 near the village of Petrovskoe in the 41 kilometer from the occupied Donetsk armed gunman forced the car of the special monitoring mission (SMM) of the OSCE to go on the mined road. It is stated in the mission report, released on June 23.
Moving the road where the patrol was last driven in February, six missions of two armoured vehicles found across roadway ditches with rubble, from under which protruded suspicious items.
“According to observers, it was an anti-tank mine TM-62 with wire remote control, stretched out to mine from the bushes”, – the report says.
While observers have discussed how best to avoid the danger zone, approached them armed with AK-74 Thriller with signs of intoxication and asked the observers to “immediately leave the area, adding that further to the East will not miss them”.
The SMM vehicles had to drive through the pit of the mine detected.
Leaving the area, patrol of the OSCE have seen other similar ditches across the road, and, presumably, wires for remote control of explosives.
The armed conflict in Eastern Ukraine began in April 2014. Fighting underway between the Armed forces of Ukraine and Pro-Russian rebels who control part of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
OSCE SMM is an unarmed civilian mission is monitoring the situation in all regions of Ukraine. She regularly prepares reports on the situation in the country and is also involved in the negotiations between the parties to the conflict in the Donbass. The mission began its work on 29 July 2014 in accordance with the decision of the OSCE permanent Council.
