Ukrainians continue to conquer poker tournaments across Europe

The first half of February was very successful for the Ukrainian players. On the eve of Valentine’s Day our poker players visited several international tournaments and could win a medal in Malaga, Rozvadov and Sochi.

For the first time in the last two years the prizes were lit from Kiev, Oleg Tolstenko – he visited the festival Super Stack Spain Red Series, held in the Spanish city of málaga. The result of the speech of the Ukrainians in the Main event with a entrance fee of €190 is a 16-th place and €465 prize money. Only the tournament prizes got 21 people, most of the players were members of Spain. The prize Fund amounted to €33,108. It is worth noting that at the final table there was a very unusual carve – once 10 players have decided to stop fighting and get the money in accordance with the number of chips they hold at the time of the partition.

Two of our players scored a part in a stage of the Eurasian poker tour, held in Sochi. Alexander Shlyakhov was the winner of the tournament pot limit Omaha and earned $381, finishing in 10th place out of 13. All in all, the event was awarded $17,867, and for the main prize fought 72. Also in the Main championship of the festival was attended by Eduard Davoyan – his speech was more successful than colleagues. He received a payment of $1,066 for 66th place, and in General, between 71 player was allocated $265,274.

However, the highest division of Ukrainian poker players landed in the Czech Republic, where in Rozvadov continue international tournaments. Monday four of our compatriots visited the casino King’s.

The best result was shown by Oleg Sushko in the Grand Prix tournament no limit hold’em in the championship Millions Germany – on account of his €737 prize for 137th place. In the same tournament George Yakimenko is located on the 197-th position and received €600. A little more (€636) earned Vladimir Rubanov, which made it to the final table of no limit hold’em event for €110 and took 7 th place. The most modest winnings this week at Michael Popelar, his participation in Grand Prix ended on the 240-th line in the standings of the Protocol, for which he received €550. However, we want to congratulate this achievement, because it is getting into the prizes on the Czech tournament was the debut of Michael in offline poker.

This is all the results of the Ukrainian poker players at the moment. However, very soon we will talk about new achievements of our compatriots, because soon will start several interesting Championships in Cyprus and in the UK.
