The foreign Ministers of Georgia and Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and Mikheil Janelidze condemned the aggression against the Russian Federation in their countries. They called on the international community to strengthen solidarity support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and Georgia, the press service of the Ukrainian foreign Ministry following the meeting in Tbilisi.
In connection with the 25th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Georgia, the Ministers noted the progress in relations and discussed their further development in the political, military, economic, humanitarian, legal and other spheres.
They confirmed the interest in further development of trade and economic cooperation and participation in implementing large-scale international energy and transport projects on the way Europe – Caucasus – Asia, including the development of “New silk road”.
Klimkin and Janelidze confirmed the key importance of “ensuring by all means the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and Georgia within internationally recognized borders.”
They discussed the issue of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Klimkin thanked Georgia for humanitarian aid in the psychological rehabilitation of the wounded in the ATO Ukrainian soldiers and rehabilitation of children affected by the fighting.

The results of the talks, the Ministers signed a joint statement, working plan of consultations between foreign ministries of both countries and held a press conference.
Klimkin is in Georgia with a two-day visit.
