“We are deeply concerned that the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars Akhtem chigusa was sentenced to eight years in prison in connection with unfounded allegations of involvement in the demonstration, which took place before the beginning of the Russian occupation,” – said the official representative of US state Department Heather Nauert.
