The police reported on the revitalization of the admingranitse in the Crimea

Law enforcement officers will strengthen the work on the administrative border with Crimea, reported the press service of the National police of Ukraine (NPU), on the basis of the operational meeting under the leadership of the first Deputy head Vyacheslav Abroskin of NHRIs, which was held on January 13.

It is noted that in the past year, the line of demarcation between mainland Ukraine and the occupied Peninsula crossed over 2.5 million people and more than 410 thousand vehicles.

“To effectively resist the actions of intruders that might arrive from the Crimea and to disappear there will be involved all divisions of the Crimean cupola police and police units from nearby areas,” – said the press service of NPU.

Abroskin said that we are talking about the identification of the crimes committed against Ukrainian citizens on the territory of Crimea, and also about the arrest of people wanted by Ukrainian police for crimes against fundamentals of national security of Ukraine.

“Separately, the meeting discussed the work to apprehend the attackers who arrive in Ukraine for committing grave and especially grave crimes and acts of sabotage. In addition, Ukrainian law enforcement agencies fix cases of theft of transport, which disappears on the territory of Crimea and is still there”, – said the press service.

Russia after the illegal referendum on 16 March 2014 annexed the Crimea and Sevastopol. The annexation of Crimea by Russia is not recognised by Ukraine and most countries of the world.

Access mode admingranitse in the Crimea was settled in 2015.
