“Bill No. 7362, which facilitates the dismissal of the Director of NABOO and heads of anticorruption agencies is contrary to the Ukraine’s struggle with corruption, reforms and commitments under the action Plan on visa liberalization. The bill should be rejected. Ukraine should strengthen, not weaken anti – corruption institutions,” said the EU delegation.

Recall bill No. 7362 “On amendments to some laws of Ukraine to ensure parliamentary control”, which greatly reduces the independence of the anticorruption bodies 6 Dec made head of the faction of the PPO and “popular front” Artur Gerasimov and Maxim Bourbaki.

We will remind, the European Union accused the Prosecutor General’s office of obstructing the NEB.

In turn , the U.S. state Department made tough statements on the scandal between the NABOO and the GPU. Washington called these actions an attempt “to undermine an independent anti-corruption institutions,” which the United States and other countries provided support.

As told to the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly, the NABOO and the GPU will try to “reconcile” in the United States. He noted that representatives of law enforcement agencies try to merge funds in Washington.
