Spain and the Netherlands denying that they support “soft Brexit”

Spain’s Finance Minister met with the new Dutch colleague, but no agreement was reached

Spain and the Netherlands have not reached agreement on how Britain should leave the EU, thus denying the information that led to the growth of the pound sterling.

About it reports Reuters with reference to the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands.

Previously, the Agency Bloomberg reported that the Netherlands and Spain agreed to work together on finding milder conditions of the agreement on Brexit, which would allow Britain to maintain closer ties with the EU.

Spain’s Finance Minister met with the new Dutch colleague, but no agreement was reached, reported the press Secretary of the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands Cohen Gelink.

“There is nothing new. Already known positions, which they did … At the meeting they discussed the fact that our countries have close ties with Britain, and it is in our interests. It is a well known fact,” said Glink.

The Ministry of economy of Spain has also denied the information about the soft support Brexit.
