“The Kenya police killed at least 11 people during the repression of protests against the re-election of the President of the government candidate Uhuru Kenyatta that broke out in Kisumu”, – stated in the message.

According to the Agency, the bodies of 9 young men shot by a night in Nairobi, was brought to the city morgue. In addition, according to an eyewitness, a young girl in Matara was killed by police firing “sporadic gunfire”, while one person was killed in the centre of Kisumu.

The protests began after the election Commission it was stated that 55-year-old head of Kenya secured a second five-year term, despite opposition claims that the elections were a fraud.
