The leader of the party “movement novih forces,” former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili admits that the protest action under the Verkhovna Rada on 17 October can be indefinite in the case of failure to comply with the protesters. He stated this at a press conference in Kiev, which was broadcast on NewsOne.

Saakashvili stressed the peaceful nature of the planned actions, and added that if there are attempts at provocations, the organizers will be obvious.

“The threat different of provocation remains, but we see these provocations every day in our lives, I don’t expect they have the power of something serious to provoke”, he said.

The leader of the “Movement novih forces” noted that sees no need for a “third Maidan”, because it has not fulfilled the requirements of the “second Maidan”.

September 20 at the independence square in Kiev announced the start of mobilization at the all-Ukrainian action in support of large-scale political reform. In the preparation of the action involved party “movement novih forces”, “Svoboda”, “Samopomich”, “citizenship”, “Demalyansa”, “national corpus”, “Alternative”, movement “Honestly”, “Hvilya” Automaidan, anti-corruption headquarters “Initiative real action,” Reanimation package of reforms, anti-corruption action Center, Opir.org.

The demands of the protesters – to make laws on the limitation of parliamentary immunity (No. 6773) of the anti-corruption court (No. 6011) and the new electoral rules (No. 1068-2).

The protesters called on citizens to support these claims and to gather by the Verkhovna Rada in Kiev on 17 October.
