From acoustic attacks affected 16 employees of the U.S. Embassy in Havana

25 August the US state Department said that 16 American diplomats who worked at the U.S. Embassy in Havana, in 2016, experienced nausea, dizziness, temporary loss of hearing or memory, after the incidents with sound waves.

Acoustic device was outside the American residence. States accused Cuba in the organization of sound attacks, but authorities believe the island violators of the Vienna Convention on the protection and immunity of diplomats.

In September, the United States decided to reduce the number of Embassy staff in Havana.

According to the Miami Herald, the US state Department in the near future will require the cube to two-thirds reduced its diplomatic corps in America.
