After four years of cancer control in the United States at the age of 86 years has died the British artist-producer, two-time winner of the award “Oscar” Terence Marsh, says Variety.

It is reported that the famous art Director , died on January 9 in his home in California.

Marsh was born 14 November 1931 in London. Began working in the film industry in the 1950-ies as a draftsman for Rank Studios.

As art Director he received the award “Oscar” for the film “Doctor Zhivago” in 1965 and “Oliver!” in 1968. he was thrice nominated for a BAFTA. Marsh worked on the films “Basic instinct”, “the Hunt for Red October, “Mary, Queen of Scotland” and “Scrooge”. His most famous work was the film “the Shawshank redemption” and “the Green Mile”.

The last work of the March was the film “rush Hour 2” in 2001.
