In SBU declared that blocked the mechanism of large-scale damage to critical transport infrastructure of Ukraine

According to the materials of the security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine imposed on the group companies from Odessa a fine of more than 37 million UAH and forbade them to participate in public procurement for three years. This was reported by the press service of the SBU in Facebook.

“SBU has blocked the mechanism of large-scale damage to critical transport infrastructure of the state. Law enforcement authorities established that the group of companies of Odessa for several years, received orders for the construction and repair of roads in different regions of Ukraine. Staff of SBU documented that during public procurement the owners and top managers of the companies were in collusion with the organisers for obtaining contracts,” – said in the secret service.

In SBU noted that the user companies have used schemes to tax evasion, inflated the cost of performed works and used materials.

“The total amount has been only two years dealers is over 100 million. Decisions of the court are already proven entrepreneurs evasion from payment of taxes in the amount of 5 million UAH”, – said they.

In the secret service added that, according to experts, poor performance by contractors of road works affect the safety of the transport infrastructure of Ukraine and led to millions of losses of budgets of different levels.
