We are talking only about the quality control that exists now and is fully aligned with the European quality norms for two years. That really problems in this field does not exist, says that more than 90% of domestic milk, which is produced by farms, and meets standards of food products”, – commented first Deputy Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine Maxim Martyniuk. According to him, 80% of milk produced in households.

The press service of agriculture Ministry reports that to date, all requirements for milk prescribed in 3662-97 DSTU “Milk cow’s whole. Requirements for the procurement.” The standard requires that all milk, depending on the level of bacterial contamination and the content of somatic cells, is divided into extra, highest, first and second grades. This standard from January 2018 was to be replaced by DSTU 3662: 2015 “, raw Milk from the cow. Technical conditions”, which is aimed at increasing the quality requirements of milk and permits for the use of milk of the second grade only for certain purposes.
