In Chile the unknown with bombs attacked the temples before the Pope’s visit

In Chile, a group of unknown, armed with homemade bombs, made a series of attacks on Catholic churches before the visit of Pope Francis, reports Reuters.

Unknown in protest against the visit of the Pontiff attacked three churches, one of which is located in the capital, Santiago.

To date, no injuries were reported, but buildings were damaged. On the site of the attacks was discovered note threatening the Pope.

The visit of the Pope to Latin America scheduled for 15-21 January. During this time he will visit Chile and Peru. This is the sixth visit of the Pope in Latin America.
