In front of the Russian Embassy in Berlin on Saturday, January 13, took action in support of Crimean Tatars. The initiator and organizer of the rally was organized by “Forum of Russian-speaking Europeans,” reports “UKRINFORM”.

One of the leaders of public organizations, the Russian sociologist Igor eidman, who lives in Germany, said that the demonstration planned for a long time.

According to the activist, the action is addressed not to the Russian Embassy, “who do not care about”, and the inhabitants of Germany. “The theme must be kept up with, including, in the negotiations with the Russian authorities and demand the release of political prisoners, the liberation of the Crimea from Russian occupation and the cessation of national repressions against the Crimean Tatar people”, – said eidman.

As reported, in the Crimea, the increasing pressure of the occupation authorities on the Crimean Tatars, said head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people, MP from the “Block of Petro Poroshenko” – Refat Chubarov.

“The number of those whom we consider political prisoners, i.e. people who are deprived of their liberty and they are behind bars or in jail, or have already received so-called adjudications, or judicial sentence, they are limited in movement in the Crimea – of people over 60. And I’m not talking about those people who receive huge fines. They have several hundred,” – said Chubarov.
