In Baghdad, an explosion occurred, media reported eight dead

On 13 January in a Baghdad explosion that killed eight people, the Associated Press reports, citing Iraqi officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

It is noted that another 10 people were injured, among them are the police.

According to officials, the explosion occurred in the Northern part of the city. The aim of the bomber was a checkpoint of the police.

The Baghdad edition of the Post reported, citing a source, that killed eight people, injured seven more.

It is noted that the explosion occurred in the square of Aden. According to the source, the bomber was riding a motorcycle.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the explosion.
