Czech mathematician, coach Aikido. What is known about the new head of the Board of “PrivatBank”

In “PrivatBank” confident that the Russian and English language skills will help Krumhansl to work in Ukraine

Peter Krumhansl was born on 6 may 1966 in the Czech town of Hradec králové. Higher education he received at Charles University in Prague, where he studied from 1984 to 1989. There he received his doctorate in mathematics.

Krumhansl have no higher education in Economics, management and law. Earlier in Ukraine the head of the Bank could only be assigned to persons with specialized education, however, in November 2017, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on amendments to the legislation to simplify business by abolishing this rule.

Information about what worked Krumhansl from 1990 to 2003, missing. In his profile on the website LinkedIn as a first job is set to Czech Raiffeisenbank CZ, where he worked as operations Director from 2004 to 2008. He then took a similar position in “Raiffeisen Bank Aval” and moved to Ukraine.

Three years later Krumhansl went back to work in Europe. For two years he was engaged in interim management and consulting in the financial services industry in several countries, in 2013 he moved to Slovenia becoming a member of the Board of Directors and the operating Director of branch of Austrian company on management of distressed assets Heta Asset Resulotion.

From may 2016 onwards, he worked as operations Director and information officer in a Chinese Bank Home Credit China.

PrivatBank notes that banks in the European Union Krumhansl “has proven to be demanding and pragmatic leader” and Ukrainian “Raiffeisen Bank Aval” in 2008, “reached the significant reduction of costs due to the restructuring of the branch network and introduction of new business models.”

“To me personally he was impressed and inspired by vysokopatogennogo person. In addition, it will be more concentrated on operating management of the Bank than self-promotion”, – said the head of the Supervisory Board of “PrivatBank” Engin Akchakocha.

Krumhansl knows five languages: Czech, English, German, Japanese and Russian. Among his main hobby is Aikido. On his page in Facebook published dozens of posts and videos dedicated to this topic. He also worked as a coach in Aikido in the Prague school of martial arts.

The purpose Krumhansl Chairman of the Board of “PrivatBank” now must be approved by the national Bank of Ukraine. Cech will become the successor owner, Maharchuk, who had carried out the duties of the head of the Board after the departure of Alexander Shlapak, who held this position since December 22, 2016 to July 20, 2017.
